Yes, you heard that right. As your child is learning to learn, you need to learn to teach. Just because you came into the world before your child and have completed your graduation or post graduation, you are not eligible to teach your child. You became a parent recently right? A parent is born the day the child is born.

Teaching is not about the logic behind the concept. Teaching is not about English, math, science etc… It’s much more. What’s being taught in school is to earn a living.

As parents, you need to teach them to be independent, responsible and true to themselves. So how do we teach children to take up responsibility or be truthful. Children learn these traits from you, the way you speak and behave with family, friends and colleagues, they watch you closely. They are your replica. Sit and observe them, they will mimic you one hundred percent.

You need to learn to be truthful, responsible and independent before you start teaching them.

And, as far as ABCs of the world is concerned, leave it to the teachers, believe me they will do a good job.

As Parents, you should focus on building the character of your child.
